Country Sales Manager Job Overview

Bosch East Africa is seeking an experienced Country Sales Manager to drive strategic sales initiatives in the Mobility Aftermarket division, contributing to the company’s growth and innovation in the African market.

Role Location

  • – Waiyaki Way, Nairobi, Kenya
  • – Full-time Position

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Planning

  • – Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies
  • – Analyze customer potentials and market needs
  • – Break down business plans to account and product group levels
  • – Negotiate and confirm annual customer agreements

Customer Relationship Management

  • – Establish and maintain professional customer relationships
  • – Provide market insights and consultation
  • – Manage customer complaints efficiently
  • – Acquire new customers aligned with company strategy

Performance and Reporting

  • – Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • – Prepare sales statistics and forecasts
  • – Manage budgeted resources
  • – Conduct customer training and market research

Candidate Requirements

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
  1.   – Commercial Economics
  2.   – Marketing
  3.   – Sales
  4.   – Business Administration

Professional Experience

  • – Minimum 5 years in sales/marketing
  • – 3+ years in Independent After Market (IAM)
  • – Experience in automotive workshop/sales management
  • – Strong distribution and B2B environment knowledge

Skills and Competencies

  • – Excellent English communication
  • – Strategic thinking and planning
  • – Data analysis capabilities
  • – Strong negotiation skills
  • – Proficient in office software
  • – French/German language skills (advantageous)
