Insurance Regulatory Authority

The Insurance Regulatory Authority is hiring Office Administrators responsible for handling enquiries, providing secretarial services, receiving and attending to clients. These roles will be deployed in the Office of Director Market Conduct and Director Corporate Services.

Requirements:

  • – Bachelor’s degree in business administration, secretarial studies, or a related field; OR
  • – Higher Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent from KNEC or recognized institution with 3 years of experience; OR
  • – Diploma in Secretarial Studies from KNEC or recognized institution with 4 years of experience.
  • – Meets the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • – Attending to visitors/clients
  • – Handling telephone calls, customer inquiries, and complaints/compliments
  • – Ensuring security and confidentiality of office records, equipment, and documents
  • – Maintaining office diary and record-keeping for correspondences and file movement
  • – Managing office protocol and etiquette
  • – Coordinating the general administration of the respective office
  • – Coordinating schedule of meetings and appointments
  • – Coordinating travel arrangements and itineraries
  • – Preparing responses to routine correspondence
  • – Monitoring procedures for record-keeping
