Centre for Health Solutions – Kenya (CHS) is seeking a skilled and reliable Driver to support their USAID-funded TB ReSET project. This 5-year initiative aims to strengthen Kenya’s tuberculosis control efforts and reduce TB incidence and mortality.
Position Overview:
The Driver will report to the Administration and Logistics Officer and provide transportation logistics to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Document all transport trips
- – Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and security
- – Comply with traffic regulations
- – Safely deliver supplies to various facilities, including loading and unloading
- – Properly document driving records (mileage and gas receipts)
- – Perform basic vehicle maintenance
- – Communicate consistently with supervisor regarding vehicle performance
- – Ensure up-to-date vehicle insurance
- – Adhere to CHS travel and HR policies
- – Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- – KCSE certificate
- – Valid Kenyan driving license Class ‘BCE’ (free of endorsement)
- – Certificate in defensive driving
- – Certificate of Good Conduct
- – Minimum 5 years’ driving experience in a busy environment
Essential Skills:
- – High level of integrity
- – Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- – Working knowledge of Kenyan traffic laws
