Requirements for Appointment
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- – Diploma in either:
- – Pharmacy
- – Pharmaceutical Technology
- – Equivalent qualification approved by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
- – Certificate of enrollment as a Pharmaceutical Technologist from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB)
- – All qualifications must be from recognized institutions

- – Age: 35 years and below

Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Pharmacy Duties
- – Compounding and dispensing medicines according to prescriptions
- – Ensuring accurate medication preparation and labeling
- – Maintaining proper drug storage conditions
- – Monitoring drug inventory and stock management
- – Providing medication counseling to patients
Supervisory and Quality Control
- – Supervising junior pharmaceutical staff
- – Performing drug quality control duties (for qualified officers)
- – Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations
- – Maintaining accurate records of pharmaceutical transactions
- – Contributing to quality assurance programs
Educational Responsibilities (In Medical Training Institutions)
- – Participating in student training and guidance
- – Contributing to curriculum development
- – Assisting in implementation of training programs
- – Supporting student recruitment and induction processes
- – Evaluating training program effectiveness
Administrative Duties
- – Maintaining pharmaceutical records and documentation
- – Contributing to departmental reports
- – Participating in pharmaceutical department meetings
- – Assisting in inventory management
- – Supporting procurement processes
