Officer Governance Position at HFC Limited – Banking Operations | Nairobi

About the Officer Governance Role

The Officer Governance position focuses on ensuring compliance, accuracy, and integrity in banking operations while maintaining high standards of service delivery. This role is crucial in supporting HFC’s commitment to regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The Officer Governance will be responsible for:

  • – Conducting thorough KYC validation for new accounts from Sales Teams
  • – Performing authentication of inward clearing cheques and ensuring AML compliance
  • – Executing daily transaction verification and data integrity checks
  • – Managing quality assessment processes within the Central Processing Center (CPC)
  • – Maintaining error logs and conducting trend analysis for management reporting
  • – Ensuring resolution of audit queries and maintaining operational standards
  • – Contributing to the bank’s business growth through operational excellence

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • – Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • – Minimum one year of banking operations experience
  • – Proven expertise with core-banking system (Profits)
  • – Strong background in account opening procedures
