The Corporate and Financial Institutions Coverage team serves as an essential component of the customer experience, guiding clients through products and solutions while working closely with product partners and internal specialist teams.
Internship Roles and Responsibilities
Interns will work in one of two key areas:
Assistant Relationship Manager Role
- – Support Senior Relationship Managers in deal execution
- – Coordinate between clients and product partners
- – Assist with account planning and business approvals
- – Handle assigned sales responsibilities
- – Work with multiple stakeholders to identify opportunities
Credit Analyst Role
- – Assist Relationship Managers in managing risk
- – Help structure deals and monitor existing clients
- – Develop understanding of CIB products and their structure
- – Conduct credit, financial, and industry risk analysis
- – Learn about environmental, sustainability, and reputational risk management
The Internship Programme
The comprehensive 10-week programme provides:
- – One-day orientation introducing the Bank and fellow interns
- – Four days of classroom instruction on products, business, and banking practices
- – On-the-job training and technical seminars
- – Regular performance reviews with support from managers, mentors, and buddies
- – Presentations by senior management and engagement with executive leadership
- – Networking opportunities within CIB and across divisions
- – Community service engagement
Strong performers may receive graduate job offers upon completion.
Requirements and Eligibility

- – Penultimate year student status
- – Availability to intern in June 2025 and start full-time employment in July 2026
