Job Overview:
As a Commission-Based Call Center Agent at 4G Capital, you will play a crucial role in managing delinquent customer portfolios and recovering overdue payments. This position requires a dedicated individual who can effectively liaise between the company and its customers, prioritizing customer satisfaction while achieving collection targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Management:
- – Manage work queues to ensure all delinquent accounts are actioned promptly
- – Monitor collection accounts daily and take appropriate actions to maintain the portfolio within accepted limits
- – Achieve monthly collection targets through effective communication and negotiation
2. Customer Interaction:
- – Make outbound calls to defaulting customers to negotiate settlements of arrears
- – Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints through verbal or written correspondence
- – Maintain high-quality communication standards in line with 4G Capital policies
3. Data Management and Reporting:
- – Capture all call information accurately through system interactions
- – Ensure all calls are recorded and stored as defined in 4G Capital policy
- – Identify and escalate cases of deceased or disabled customers to collections management
4. Collaboration and Compliance:
- – Work closely with branch teams on their bad debt portfolios
- – Adhere to allocated shift schedules and break times
- – Comply with all 4G Capital policies and procedures
- – Perform other ad hoc tasks as defined by the Call Center Manager
Requirements:
Experience:
- – 6 months to 1 year of call center experience, preferably in collections
- – Previous experience in retail or financial services is advantageous
Education:
- – Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course
Skills and Attributes:
- – Fluency in English (written and verbal); Swahili proficiency is an advantage
- – Strong communication and presentation skills
- – Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- – Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- – Proficiency in computer applications and data entry
- – Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- – Strong service ethos and customer-centric approach
- – Self-motivated with a proactive, energetic attitude
- – Team player willing to go above and beyond
- – Resilience and ability to work under pressure
- – Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets
