Special Education Professionals (SEP) is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support their team in Nairobi. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families.

Requirements:

– Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence
– Support the coordination of meetings, consultations, and events, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
– Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records, such as membership lists and project lists
– Support the development and implementation of communication strategies, including social media, website updates, and newsletters
– File annual returns and update society changes (e.g., change of office bearers) at the Registrar of Societies
– Maintain the SEP library database and assets register, ensuring accurate records of borrowed and returned items
– Clean and maintain the office space regularly
– Provide general support to staff as needed
