Amnesty International Kenya is seeking dedicated volunteers to join their team and contribute to the fight for human rights. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the non-profit sector and make a meaningful impact in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support Amnesty Kenya’s campaigns and advocacy efforts
  2. Assist with research and documentation of human rights issues
  3. Help organize events and community outreach activities
  4. Contribute to social media and digital communications
  5. Provide administrative support as needed


  • – Passion for human rights and social justice
  • – Strong communication skills in English and Swahili
  • – Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • – Basic computer literacy (MS Office, internet research)
  • – Availability for a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week
  • – Kenyan citizenship or legal residency

Desired Qualities:

  • – Previous volunteer experience (not mandatory)
  • – Knowledge of human rights issues in Kenya and globally
  • – Creativity and initiative
  • – Flexibility and willingness to learn

  • – Receive training and mentorship from Amnesty staff
