Responsibilities of the 4G Capital Assistant Business Development Manager
As the Assistant Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- – Ensuring accurate and up-to-date distributor customer data is shared on a rolling basis for your designated region
- – Driving revenue growth for both new and existing distributors within your region
- – Onboarding new distributors through lead generation and prospecting activities
- – Collaborating with the call center team to meet collections targets in your region
- – Researching and identifying new business opportunities, including potential markets, growth areas, and strategic partnerships
- – Establishing relationships with key decision-makers at existing and new distributor accounts
- – Providing specialized KUZA training to distributors and their staff to support customer conversion
- – Assisting with various marketing initiatives and activities
- – Accurately and promptly reporting on customer preferences, market trends, and new opportunities

Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this Assistant Business Development Manager role, you should possess:
- – Minimum of 5 years of customer-facing experience in a B2B or B2C business development environment
- – Background in sales and marketing, preferably with FMCG companies
- – Experience in leading a team and engaging with high-value distributors or manufacturers
- – University diploma or degree from a recognized institution
- – Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills
- – Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- – Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- – Proactive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
- – Ability to work with ambiguity and under minimal supervision
- – Proficiency in computer literacy and Microsoft Office suite
