International Justice Mission (IJM) is Hiring an Assistant Office & Receptionist in Kenya

International Justice Mission, a global leader in protecting vulnerable people from violence, is hiring an Assistant Office & Receptionist for their Nairobi office. Position Overview

The Assistant Office & Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing critical administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Administration & Human Resources in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

  • – Welcome and assist all visitors and callers with professionalism to maintain IJM’s organizational image
  • – Support in hosting visitors and providing warm reception
  • – Track document movement in and out of the organization
  • – Procure and manage office supplies and stationery
  • – Build relationships with suppliers/vendors and negotiate favorable deals
  • – Process and manage incoming/outgoing correspondence systematically
  • – Handle monthly bill payments and financial obligations
  • – Support office hygiene maintenance and cleanliness
  • – Assist with office events and logistics coordination
  • – Provide refreshments for staff gatherings and meetings
  • – Run errands as requested
  • – Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Manager

Requirements

  • – Diploma in Public Relations, Business, or related field
  • – Minimum 2 years of experience in reception or administrative role
  • – Fluency in written and spoken English and Swahili
  • – High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook
  • – Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • – Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles’ Creed
  • – Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • – Excellent planning and execution abilities
  • – Strong interpersonal skills
  • – Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
  • – High levels of honesty and integrity
