About the Opportunity
Inkomoko is expanding its impact by recruiting a passionate Business Associate to support entrepreneurial growth in critical regional locations. This full-time, entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in local communities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Mobilization (10% of Role)
- – Identify and enroll entrepreneurs matching program criteria
- – Communicate program details to participants
- – Represent Inkomoko as a community ambassador
- – Provide strategic insights to leadership
2. Training Support (40% of Role)
- – Coordinate training logistics
- – Ensure participant attendance and engagement
- – Assist in delivering training materials
- – Support continuous improvement of training modules
3. Business Consulting & Client Management (40% of Role)
- – Conduct comprehensive business intake processes
- – Perform monthly site visits
- – Generate financial analyses
- – Provide strategic business advice
- – Connect clients to additional Inkomoko services
- – Support investment application processes
4. Coordination & Administration (10% of Role)
- – Develop partnerships with local authorities
- – Prepare timely reports
- – Collaborate with internal teams
- – Support data collection efforts
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
- – 1+ years of relevant work experience
- – Strong consulting and business planning skills
- – Financial and accounting expertise
- – Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word)
- – University education or current enrollment
- – Fluency in English and Swahili
- – 24/7 smartphone access
