Penda Health, an award-winning healthcare provider with 16 Medical Centres across Nairobi and Kiambu Counties, is seeking dedicated Pigia Penda Representatives to join their call center team. This entry-level, full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to Penda Health’s vision of providing trustworthy healthcare to everyone in Africa.
Role Overview
As a Pigia Penda Representative, you will be the voice of Penda Health’s call center platform, handling both telemedicine and general customer inquiries. This non-clinical role is essential for maintaining effective communication between patients and healthcare providers while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- – Answer incoming calls professionally and resolve caller issues promptly with accurate information
- – Conduct follow-up calls with assigned patients to ensure positive experiences and escalate to Pigia Penda Providers when necessary
- – Assign paid teleconsultations to medical providers in sequence and confirm all paid patients receive attention
- – Deliver excellent patient experiences through both call and chat channels, striving for first-contact resolution
- – Respond to inquiries through the Chat na Penda platform and appropriately transfer medical-related chats to Providers
- – Maintain thorough documentation in required systems, including call forms and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Requirements
- – Diploma in Customer Service or related field
- – 2 years of relevant work experience (call center experience is advantageous)
- – Basic computer skills with typing speed exceeding 40 words per minute
- – Fluency in both Swahili and English
- – Strong team player with results-driven attitude
- – This is a non-clinical position
