Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Data Management:
- – Process and verify financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments

- – Reconcile daily cash receipts and prepare bank deposits
- – Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- – Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
- – Prepare and send invoices to customers
- – Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable
- – Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
3. Reporting and Analysis:
- – Generate and distribute routine financial reports
- – Assist in preparing month-end and year-end financial statements
- – Support the finance team in budget preparation and forecasting activities
4. Compliance and Audit Support:
- – Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all financial transactions
- – Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits
- – Help maintain proper filing systems for financial records
5. Guest Relations:
- – Handle guest inquiries related to billing and payments professionally and courteously
- – Coordinate with other departments to resolve guest financial issues promptly
6. Administrative Support:
- – Assist in answering phones and managing correspondence related to accounting matters
- – Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- – Support other finance team members with various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- – Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- – 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- – Experience with accounting software and hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus
- – Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- – Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- – Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- – Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- – Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor
- – Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- – Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry
