About the Role
The Client Service Officer plays a critical role in delivering outstanding customer service, supporting underwriting processes, and ensuring operational excellence across Old Mutual’s branch network. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining the highest standards of client care.
Primary Responsibilities
Client Service and Support
- – Provide comprehensive client support through telephonic and face-to-face interactions
- – Deliver high-quality customer service to all clients
- – Maximize cross-sale and up-sale opportunities
- – Follow up on renewals to ensure maximum retention of profitable accounts
Underwriting and Documentation
- – Enforce underwriting controls and ensure compliance with guidelines
- – Process and check underwriting documents
- – Prepare accurate and timely quotations
- – Process policy documents within set timelines
- – Issue and sign Motor Certificates and Yellow cards
- – Initiate motor valuations and follow up
Operational Compliance
- – Ensure 100% adherence to the authority matrix
- – Maintain compliance with AML and PEP guidelines
- – Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
- – Capture clean and accurate data
- – Maintain an orderly and up-to-date registry
- – Review and dispatch notices and documents
Financial and Administrative Tasks
- – Process premium debiting
- – Handle timely processing of refunds
- – Prepare relevant reports for management
- – Perform daily scanning and indexing of mails
- – Safeguard security documents
- – Follow the credit control policy
