Kenya Power is currently seeking two talented Customer Experience Officers specializing in Graphic Design to join their dynamic team at the Central Office. This role reports directly to the Manager, Customer Experience and offers an exciting opportunity to shape the visual identity of Kenya’s premier power utility company.

Role Purpose

The position holders will be responsible for creating and maintaining Kenya Power’s visual communications across all platforms, ensuring brand consistency while driving innovative design solutions that enhance customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Development

  • – Create compelling visual materials for multiple platforms
  • – Design engaging social media content and digital marketing assets
  • – Develop professional corporate materials and presentations
  • – Produce high-quality print materials including brochures and banners
  • – Transform complex information into visually appealing designs

Brand Management

  • – Maintain and enhance Kenya Power’s visual brand identity
  • – Ensure consistency across all communication channels
  • – Uphold corporate design guidelines and standards
  • – Create innovative design concepts for company initiatives
  • – Support brand evolution and modernization efforts

Digital Media Production

  • – Design graphics for digital marketing campaigns
  • – Create engaging email newsletter templates
  • – Manage website visual content
  • – Support photography and videography needs
  • – Edit and enhance visual content for various platforms

Project Management

  • – Handle multiple design projects simultaneously
  • – Meet critical deadlines and quality standards
  • – Maintain organized design files and documentation
  • – Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors
  • – Participate in company events for content creation

Innovation & Trends

  • – Research and implement latest design trends
  • – Suggest innovative visual communication solutions
  • – Keep abreast of digital media developments
  • – Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • – Develop creative solutions for communication challenges

Required Qualifications

Education

  • – Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics, Architecture, Business Administration or related field
  • – Diploma in Graphics Design and/or UI/UX Design (added advantage)

Experience

  • – Minimum 3 years working experience in graphic design or related field
  • – Proven portfolio of successful design projects
  • – Experience with digital marketing design
  • – Background in corporate communications design
  • – Track record of innovative design solutions
