Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to effectively manage the EWV scale up project and ensure that the project outcomes are realized within the stipulated time and according to project objectives and donor promise. The Project Manager is also a lead trainer of the EWV Project Model and will assume responsibility for ensuring that the project activities are integrated and mainstreamed within World Vision operations.
Major Responsibilities:
- – 40% Ensure EWV integration into Field Office strategies, technical programs, grants (including fragile contexts), capacity building, coaching, and coordination of regional EWV trainers.
- – 15% Project management – oversee implementation, indicator reporting, serve as main WVUS contact, ensure quality standards, coordinate plans/budgets, monitor & report progress, ensure effective use of finances, supervise staff, participate in meetings, represent project.
- – 25% Strengthen EWV Design, Monitoring & Evaluation – collaborate on indicator standardization, complete EWV Project Model documentation, develop quality assurance documentation, support EWV integration in systems, coordinate research/publications/learning forums.
- – 15% Engage with leadership & specialists to plan/advocate for EWV – coordinate requests, ensure integration in programs/proposals, lead adaptation efforts.
- – 5% Other responsibilities – participate in organizational meetings/strategy reviews, use data to build evidence & facilitate improvements.
Requirements:
- – 5+ years experience in development field
- – Spiritual maturity, articulation of Christian faith
- – Knowledge/experience with WV operations, faith & development principles
- – 5+ years program management experience
- – Facilitation skills in training/empowerment approaches
- – Experience in design, monitoring & evaluation (DM&E)
- – Cross-cultural experience, computer literacy, teamwork
- – Communication skills, English proficiency
- – Understanding of basic accounting
- – Degree in related field (Master’s preferred)
- – Project management, M&E, and Certified Trainer/Facilitator
- – Knowledge of WV programming approach (advantage)
- – Ability to develop donor reports
Work Environment:
- – Office-based with frequent travel to the field
- – 30% international travel required
