Poa! Internet, Kenya’s fastest-growing and highly innovative ISP, is seeking a dynamic Field Sales Agent to join their team in Nakuru West. Founded in 2014 with the vision of providing internet in every home in Africa, Poa! is dedicated to driving digital inclusion by offering affordable internet access to low-income communities.

Job Overview:

The Field Sales Agent will play a crucial role in expanding Poa!’s customer base and achieving growth targets in the Nakuru West region. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that’s rapidly expanding across Kenya and East Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets

2. Develop and maintain a robust sales funnel

3. Conduct daily customer prospecting and lead generation

4. Utilize marketing materials effectively and adhere to brand guidelines

5. Maintain excellent operational standards and compliance

6. Provide timely sales updates and feedback

7. Collaborate with the marketing team to improve brand engagement

Area Coverage:

Bondeni, Kaptembwo, Kenlands, Langalanga, Mother Teresa Hotel, Rhonda, and Kiamunyi

Performance Targets:

  • – Month 1: 10 sales
  • – Month 2: 15 sales
  • – Month 3: 20 sales

Daily Prospecting Goals:

  • – Source at least 20 prospective customer visits

Develop a sales funnel categorized as:

  • – Hot Leads: 20%
  • – Warm Leads: 30%
  • – Cold Leads: 40%
  • – Paid Customers: 10%

Requirements:

1. 1-2 years of successful direct selling experience with a proven track record of earning incentives

2. Demonstrated ability to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets

3. Strong sales acumen and high integrity

4. Experience in selling consumer durables, FMCG, home internet services, or within low-income and informal communities (preferred)

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

6. Proficiency in using CRM tools and maintaining accurate sales records

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

9. Fluency in English and Swahili
