Job Purpose:
As a Finance Intern at Jumba, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s finance operations, with a focus on accounts receivable. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in finance and grow your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Receivable Management:
- – Implement aggressive debt recovery strategies
- – Reconcile customer accounts
- – Process customer payments against invoiced amounts
- – Assist in developing and maintaining customer relationships for timely payments
2. Petty Cash Operations:
- – Support the disbursement of funds
- – Post and reconcile petty cash entries
- – Assist in processing refunds
- – Contribute to daily cash flow projections
3. Data Management and Analysis:
- – Perform data entry tasks using spreadsheets and financial databases
- – Conduct basic financial analysis to support decision-making processes
- – Learn and utilize financial software and tools, including accounting and financial analysis applications
4. Administrative Support:
- – Assist with general administrative duties for the finance team
- – Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- – Support the team in preparing financial reports and presentations
5. Collaboration and Problem-Solving:
- – Work closely with team members to identify and address financial challenges
- – Participate in brainstorming sessions to improve financial processes

Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (ongoing or recently completed)
- – CPA(K) certification or progress towards certification
- – Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
- – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- – Effective time management abilities
- – Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently
- – Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
