Centre for Health Solutions – Kenya (CHS) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Finance Officer to join their team for the USAID-funded TB ReSET project. This 5-year initiative aims to strengthen Kenya’s tuberculosis control efforts and reduce TB incidence and mortality.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, the Finance Officer will be responsible for accurate and timely preparation of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with CHS and donor policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • – File financial documents in EDMS with correct references
  • – Review field requests for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
  • – Prepare clear review remarks for claims
  • – Adhere to existing SLAs for payments
  • – Prepare advance vouchers using Business Central
  • – Upload Mpesa payments upon approval
  • – Process and post liquidations
  • – Prepare monthly Mpesa/Bank reconciliation statements
  • – Create and review budget monitoring reports with program staff
  • – Support budgeting and audit processes

Requirements:

  • – Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business or equivalent
  • – CPA (K) finalist
  • – Working knowledge of USG rules and regulations
  • – Proficiency in MS Office tools and office automation solutions
  • – Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in finance roles
  • – NGO experience (desirable)
  • – Working knowledge of ERP systems
