Graphic Design Intern

Project Summary:

MSI was awarded the Communications for Development (C4D) project to support USAID missions in conveying the impact of USAID assistance to audiences in Kenya and Somalia. The project provides strategic and technical advisory, production, and research services to enhance communications efforts.

Position Summary:

• – The Graphic Design Intern will support the USAID mission in Somalia.
• – Reporting to their assigned supervisor, the intern will be based in MSI’s Nairobi field office, with remote work options as needed.
• – Internships require a minimum part-time commitment of 25 hours per week or full-time commitment of 40 hours per week during regular business hours, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
• – This is a paid position, with the ideal availability before October 23, 2023.
• – Only Kenyan citizens or residents are eligible for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Assist in creating visual storytelling elements, social media graphics, and other design materials.
• – Collaborate with the Communications Specialists team on campaigns and media partnerships.
• – Support with graphic design for various communications and outreach efforts.

Requirements:

• – Proficiency in graphic design software and tools.
• – Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• – Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• – Excellent time management skills.
• – Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design or related field.
