HR Intern

BasiGo, a pioneering e-mobility startup, is hiring an HR Intern to join their People & Culture team in Nairobi, Kenya. Position Details

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration

• – Assist in maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases in a secure and confidential manner
• – Help prepare HR documents such as contracts, letters, and reports
• – Support in filing and organizing both physical and digital HR documents
• – Aid in the administration of employee benefits and leave tracking
• – Assist with other administrative duties as delegated by the Head of People

Recruitment & Onboarding Support

• – Help schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates
• – Provide general support for recruitment processes as needed
• – Assist in collecting and filing new hire documentation
• – Maintain trackers for recruitment and onboarding progress
• – Support offboarding activities when required

Culture & Engagement

• – Assist in planning and executing team-building activities and staff events
• – Support initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture
• – Contribute to creating an inclusive and engaging work environment

Candidate Requirements

Education

• – Recent graduate in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

• – Internship or volunteer experience in an administrative or operations role
• – Exposure to office tools such as Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
