Human Resource for Health (HRH) Associate Position at Amref Health Africa
Location: Lodwar, Turkana County, Kenya
Duration: 6 Months Contract

Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations Management
- – Provide comprehensive administrative support across HR functions
- – Coordinate and manage HRH activities under USAID Imarisha Jamii project
- – Draft professional correspondence and maintain confidential documentation
- – Manage leave systems and timesheet records for contracted health workers

– Organize and schedule meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
Payroll and Contract Administration
- – Process and manage employment contracts
- – Ensure timely contract issuance and proper documentation
- – Maintain accurate ERP system records
- – Handle statutory documentation and filing
Recruitment and Onboarding
- – Support recruitment processes for short-term staff
- – Manage internship programs and coordination
- – Conduct employee inductions
- – Prepare and manage orientation programs
- – Handle immigration documentation for international staff
Administrative Support
- – Coordinate HR department meetings
- – Manage office supplies and resources
- – Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
- – Maintain filing systems and historical records
Required Qualifications:
Education
- – Diploma in Human Resources Management
- – Minimum one year experience in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills
- – Proficiency in HRMIS and ERP systems
- – Strong understanding of HR functions and processes
- – Advanced computer literacy
- – Knowledge of public service regulations
- – Familiarity with Turkana County HR procedures
