Industrial Attachment Opportunities (May to July 2025 Intake)

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is hiring students for its three-month Industrial Attachment Programme running from May to July 2025. This initiative supports the Government’s Youth Initiative aimed at developing young talent for the Kenyan labor market by providing practical work experience to continuing students.

Programme Details

The programme offers undergraduate students in their 3rd, 4th, and final years, as well as final-year diploma students, the opportunity to gain practical experience in their respective fields of study. Students will be placed within various Support Services departments of KRA, allowing them to fulfill partial requirements for their degree programmes.

Requirements

To qualify for this attachment opportunity, applicants must:

• – Be Kenyan citizens aged between 18 and 35 years
• – Be continuing 1st degree students (Undergraduate) in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study OR diploma students in their final year from recognized institutions
• – Provide a valid introduction letter from their university/college
• – Be available full-time for the entire three-month duration of the program

Important Information

• – Application Deadline: Monday, 14th April 2025

• – Monthly Stipend: Kshs.7,000 (subject to applicable statutory deductions)
• – Required Documents if Selected: Valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details

• – Confirm your email address via the link sent to complete registration

2. Log On

• – Go to https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login
• – Enter your username and password to access your ‘Applicant Cockpit’

3. Create/Update Candidate Profile

• – Navigate to the ‘Candidate Profile’ tab
• – Click on ‘My Profile’ to create and complete your profile
• – Follow the instructions and finish by clicking “Overview and Release”
• – Check the box on the final page to complete your profile

4. Application Process

• – Click on ‘Employment Opportunities’ on the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ page
• – Click ‘Start’ under ‘Job Search’ to view all vacancies
• – Select the Industrial Attachment posting to view details
• – Click ‘Apply’ and follow instructions to complete your application
• – Submit by clicking ‘Send Application Now’ after accepting the ‘Data Privacy Statement’
