Job Description:
As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions for Deloitte’s diverse clientele. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art cloud technologies and contribute to transformative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Setup, configuration, and maintenance of cloud solutions
2. Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions
3. Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives
4. Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
5. Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
6. Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions, adhering to company security policies and cloud security best practices
7. Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
8. Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements
9. Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on their needs
10. Implement cost-control strategies to minimize expenses
11. Develop automation solutions to streamline processes
12. Implement security measures to protect data from unauthorized access or use
Qualifications:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- – 2-4 years of professional programming experience
- – Strong knowledge and experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- – Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- – Proficiency in at least two of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C#, Javascript, TypeScript
- – Solid understanding of data structures (Lists, Arrays, Maps, etc.)
- – SQL knowledge and experience
- – Competence in using Command Line Interface (CLI) in Linux, MacOS, or other Unix systems
- – Proficiency with Git version control system
- – Experience with Jira or other ticket tracking systems
- – Familiarity with Confluence Teamwork space
- – Experience working as part of a software development team
- – Knowledge of CI/CD systems
- – Skills in API usage and SDKs for writing applications
- – Understanding of application lifecycle management
