Position: DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Website Maintenance: Assist in maintaining websites using content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal and WordPress.

2. Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

3. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring efficient software delivery.

4. Cloud Environment Management: Oversee cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of services.

5. Monitoring and Logging: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack to ensure optimal performance of applications and infrastructure.

6. Security Implementation: Apply security best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle, including automated security testing and vulnerability management.

7. Automation: Write and maintain scripts in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate routine tasks and processes.

8. Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to ensure business continuity.

9. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all processes, configurations, and systems.

10. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve incidents related to infrastructure, deployments, and system performance to minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

• Extensive knowledge of CMS platforms, particularly Drupal and WordPress.

• Familiarity with LEMP and MERN stacks.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency.

• Strong collaborative skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Outstanding communication and documentation abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps practices.

• Experience working in a media or high-traffic website environment.

• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.
