British American Tobacco (BAT) Kenya is seeking a Marketing Intern to join their team across various regions including Nairobi, Coast, Lake, Mountain, Rift & Eastern Regions of Kenya. Key Responsibilities

• – Learn and support implementation of Trade Marketing and Distribution plans aligned with brand strategy and trade needs
• – Support in achieving trade coverage, visit frequency, and outlet visit plans to maximize route effectiveness
• – Assist in establishing close working relationships with partners (distributors, trade, retailers) to gain trade support and loyalty
• – Lead by example in innovation by trying new approaches and embracing change through solutions that have worked elsewhere
• – Support territory volume and distribution objectives for company brands by trade channel and outlet type
• – Help ensure optimal stock levels, product quality, and freshness through stock management and reporting
• – Plan, prepare, and participate in team events and programs
• – Provide relief for Regional Trade Teams during leave periods as required

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• – Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field, having graduated within the last year
• – Valid driving license (for a minimum of 2 years)
• – Driven, ambitious, and eager to learn
• – Strong analytical skills complemented by excellent organizational and planning abilities
