KCB Bank is hiring for the position of Marketing Manager – Business Functions. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Business & Non-Business Functions, this role is responsible for leading and guiding brand teams to ensure flawless execution of all Business marketing initiatives across business (growth) functions. This includes co-creating annual strategies with assigned Business teams and ensuring robust execution to drive business growth while meeting consumer needs and positioning the bank’s brand appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Oversee and lead the execution of comprehensive Brand Plan strategy co-created with assigned business units, ensuring alignment with the bank’s Group brand strategy, marketing policies and procedures, and leveraging market insights and trends to drive business growth.
- – Lead the commercialization of new products and services, overseeing product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize sales and market penetration.
- – Work with product owners and assigned business teams to develop appropriate systems and tools to market bank products and services within the Business Functions.
- – Ensure appropriate application of brand usage guidelines and marketing policies in the marketing of the bank’s products and services developed by the Business functions, and work with marketing managers across Subsidiaries to ensure consistency while attending to local uniqueness.
- – Provide expert support to Group Subsidiaries in developing effective marketing strategies for relevant Business Functions within the Subsidiaries.
- – Utilize data-driven insights and metrics to evaluate marketing performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize strategies for maximum Return on Investment.
- – Develop appropriate metrics and dashboards to measure the impact of marketing activities on the bottom line.
- – Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, e.g., agencies, ensuring attainment of innovative media plans and creative material that exhibit clear understanding of brand values, consumer motivation, and competitive context.
- – Effective management of the marketing budget allocated to the area.
- – Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on achieving results.
Requirements:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Commerce – Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- – Professional Certification, CIM (added advantage).
- – MBA (added advantage).
- – 8 years of experience in marketing/brands management.
- – 6 years of experience in marketing campaigns and leading teams.
- – 6 years of stakeholder management/relationship management.
- – 5 years of product development experience.
- – 4 years of experience in Marketing agency management, Market research and analytics, digital Marketing, Communications, and budget management.
