Sun King, a leading off-grid solar energy company, is hiring a Mobile Security Engineer on a fixed-term contract basis. This role is responsible for identifying security vulnerabilities in vendor smartphones and advising on security measures.
Requirements:
- – Deep understanding of Android mobile phones – hardware, firmware, and OS level
- – Expertise in phone security bypass testing (flashing, MDM bypass, FRP bypass, OEM bypass, motherboard tampering, etc.)
- – Hands-on experience with various testing tools like Chimera, Pandora, Infinity, or similar
- – Previous experience with Samsung, Nokia, Techno Pop, Itel, Infinix smartphones is preferred
Key Duties:
- – Perform reconnaissance and test various hacking solutions available online
- – Work with the risk team to analyze field audit results and conduct sample audits
- – Standardize phone model testing procedures and create security risk reports
- – Conduct periodic security reviews of phone models and test with latest vendor patches/fixes
- – Assist in creating and reviewing Mobile Device Management (MDM) policies
- – Work on tampering detection solutions for Android devices
- – Suggest firmware upgrades for implementation by MDM providers and Android team
