About the Role:
As a PHP Developer at Sportserve, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and improving existing projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- – Building front-facing websites and pages based on technical and functional specifications.
- – Implementing different strategies for existing products and tools.
- – Participating in new payment provider integrations.
- – Collaborating on architecture and developing new features.
- – Prototyping and evaluating potential implementations.
- – Meeting with business stakeholders to understand and address their needs.
You’ll have the opportunity to program, brainstorm on challenging problems, and prototype different ideas. You’ll also contribute to writing and improving documentation, assisting customer support, maintaining ownership of our product, and troubleshooting production incidents.
Skills and Qualifications:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- – 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- – Proficiency in PHP, OOP syntax, Composer, Git, Bash, Linux, HTTP, REST, and MySQL.
- – Familiarity with data structures, separation of concerns, Docker, Gitlab with CI/CD, Markdown, Kibana, and Grafana.
- – Experience with Drupal, caching, Varnish, or HTTP accelerators is a plus.
- – Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- – Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and a collaborative team player.
- – Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize across multiple projects.
- – Experience with Agile methodology and tools like Jira.
