Project Manager – E-Commerce

Position Overview:

As the Project Manager – E-Commerce, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating projects for Agency Africa’s diverse client base. This position demands a unique blend of technical expertise, client management skills, and strategic thinking. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be instrumental in driving project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project and Client Account Management:

• – Spearhead end-to-end project management from initiation to delivery
• – Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams
• – Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
• – Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• – Gather and document client requirements and functional specifications
• – Evaluate current e-commerce solutions, identify optimization opportunities, and deliver recommendations and roadmaps
• – Lead client status meetings and provide consistent project updates
• – Participate in business development and pre-sales activities

2. Client Communication:

• – Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• – Effectively communicate project updates, milestones, and deliverables
• – Address client concerns promptly and ensure expectations are met or exceeded

3. Team Collaboration:

• – Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
• – Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
• – Provide leadership and guidance to team members

4. Quality Assurance:

• – Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with client expectations
• – Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks

5. Documentation:

• – Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• – Ensure all project-related information is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• – Proven experience as a Project Manager in an E-Commerce environment
• – Strong understanding and hands-on experience with WooCommerce projects
• – Exceptional project management and organizational skills
• – Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• – Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• – Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• – Great attention to detail, conscientious work ethic
• – Proficiency in project management tools and software

Education and Experience:

• – Bachelor’s degree (Note: Agency Africa values practical experience over formal education)
• – Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in E-Commerce project management
• – Experience in managing projects from inception to delivery is highly advantageous
