Insurance Regulatory Authority

The Insurance Regulatory Authority is hiring a Research & Innovation Assistant to support the Research and Innovation Department in implementing programs and projects, as well as collecting, analyzing data, and preparing reports.

Requirements:

  • – Higher Diploma in Business Studies, Insurance, or Statistics with 3 years of relevant experience; OR
  • – Diploma in Business Studies, Insurance, or Statistics with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • – Meets the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • – Participate in formulating and synthesizing proposals, ideas, and issues on research and innovation in the insurance industry.
  • – Assist in implementing research and innovation activities.
  • – Assist in coordinating research and innovation activities for promoting insurance market development.
  • – Assist in synthesizing ideas and issues on research and innovation in the insurance industry.
  • – Assist in implementing research and innovation activities that support and promote market development.
  • – Assist in undertaking surveys and analyzing data and information on insurance market developments and initiatives.
  • – Assist in preparing reports on various research and innovation activities.
  • – Assist in carrying out analytical work and offer advisory services to other Directorates on research, innovations, and related issues.
  • – Carry out desktop research using a range of methods and sources of data.
  • – Data entry and analysis.
  • – Assist in writing research reports.
  • – Support logistics for the department.
