Job Description:
Tala is hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Manager for their Kenyan market. This role will lead planning, development, deployment and performance reporting of lifecycle campaigns across SMS, in-app, push and email. It’s an opportunity for someone passionate about CRM software, execution and leveraging data to create personalized communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Design, implement, measure and iterate on personalized lifecycle strategies
- – Partner with teams to execute and optimize high-performing lifecycle campaigns
- – Generate data-driven hypotheses and run A/B tests to inform strategies and drive ROI
- – Use data, analytics and experimental design to improve business objectives
- – Lead the end-to-end lifecycle production process for maximum efficiency
- – Execute lifecycle marketing campaigns per stakeholder requests
- – Problem-solve in real-time to address customer-impacting interruptions
- – Collaborate with teams to ensure availability of data for personalized campaigns
- – Manage, develop, coach and motivate team members
Requirements:
- – Minimum 5+ years in lifecycle marketing and mobile/CRM
- – Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms like Braze
- – Solid understanding of email, in-app, push & SMS campaigns and segmentation
- – Passion for results analysis, intermediate SQL skills preferred
- – Data analysis skills to interpret data with minimal guidance
- – Passion for data QA and finding root causes of discrepancies
- – Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- – Strong project management and communication skills
- – Proven funnel metrics, campaign performance and optimization analysis abilities
- – Ability to effectively communicate analysis to drive decisions
- – Experience writing compelling copy and with HTML/CSS
- – Cross-cultural skills for serving global customers across locations
