Software Engineer

Boston Consulting Group is seeking talented software engineering interns to join their rapidly growing team of nearly 3,000 technologists. At Boston Consulting Group you’ll have the opportunity to help build the next generation of AI solutions and partner with clients across industries on cutting-edge topics like climate change.

Intern Duties:

• – Develop robust and maintainable software by applying best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• – Guide non-technical teams and consultants on robust software development methods.
• – Optimize computational efficiency of algorithms and software design.
• – Collaborate with teams to share software design and solution ideas.
• – Interact directly with clients to gather requirements for new product features.
• – Contribute to thought leadership by participating in scientific communities, papers, and conferences.

Requirements:

• – Currently enrolled in a university master’s or PhD program in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
• – Passion for software development, large-scale data analytics, and redefining organizations with AI-driven innovation.
• – Experience with software development practices and standards.
• – Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity across various industries and topics.
• – Motivated by a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

BCG offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, parental leave, retirement program, paid time off, and more. Compensation ranges from $110,000 USD for AI Software Engineer I to $190,000 USD for Senior AI Software Engineer.
