Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- – Hire, retain, and motivate a high-performing regional team, typically consisting of Area Business Managers, Sun King Store Executives, and Field Sales Executives
- – Develop a world-class, disciplined, and process-oriented team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences
- – Provide comprehensive training to Area Business Managers on various aspects of the business, including sales, collections, product knowledge, technical skills, and inventory management
- – Ensure role clarity and professional alignment for all team members, emphasizing integrity, ethics, and professionalism in customer interactions
Sales and Operations Management:
- – Drive sales growth and timely collections while ensuring sustainable expansion of the direct distribution network
- – Set and exceed sales and collection targets, providing daily and weekly updates on key performance indicators
- – Implement robust field sales processes, including customer profiling, collection follow-ups, and issue resolution
- – Conduct regular field visits and joint fieldwork to provide hands-on training and support to team members
- – Organize and participate in night activations, market events, and community gatherings to boost group sales
Customer Experience and Market Leadership:
- – Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring world-class assistance in product delivery, usage training, installation, and after-sales support
- – Monitor market trends and competitive pressures, implementing strategies to maintain Sun King’s brand leadership
- – Control marketing and operational expenses while maximizing return on investment
- – Conduct periodic review meetings and surprise field visits to maintain high-quality sales processes and standards
- – Recognize and motivate outstanding performers to maintain team morale and productivity
Requirements:
- – Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field or equivalent
- – Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in sales management
- – Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- – Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing sales teams
- – Strong innovative thinking and cost-consciousness
- – Exceptional skills in planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks
- – Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- – Excellent listening and coaching skills with a commitment to continuous learning
- – Detail-oriented with a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction
- – Fluency in English and Swahili; knowledge of local languages is a plus
