SoCha are hiring an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics Expert to support USAID’s health programs and local partners in Kenya under the Kenya Health Partnerships for Quality Services (KHPQS) initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Support health product/technology procurement – track inventory, arrivals, delays
• – Support drafting the annual Master Procurement List and coordinate approvals
• – Provide technical supply chain support to USAID programs like Dawa za Ubora, Afya Uwazi, Afya Ugavi, KIPS
• – Review partner workplans, reports, KPIs, inventory management
• – Participate in coordination meetings and site visits
• – Support commodity forecasting and quantification exercises

Requirements:

• – Bachelor’s in public health, supply chain, pharmacy or related field
• – 12+ years international experience in health sector supply chain management
• – Expertise in health product/technology procurement
• – Strong analytical skills for inventory management and process improvement
• – Experience in low/medium-income country health contexts
• – Experience drafting/coordinating project documents with health authorities
• – Proven technical assistance skills for workplans, reports, KPIs, inventory
• – Experience facilitating meetings and conducting site visits
• – Ability to review reports, identify areas for improvement, facilitate communication
• – Commodity forecasting and quantification experience, including with USAID
• – Strong communication and reporting capabilities

Contract: Full-time, 9 months (July 2024 – June 2025)
