Internship Details:

• – Duration: 12 weeks
• – Location: Nairobi
• – Closing Date: July 10th, 2024

Key Responsibilities:

• – Research and analyze complex tax problems
• – Review financial data to identify and address tax gaps
• – Ensure accuracy of tax computations, returns, and filings
• – Identify tax-saving strategies and recommend improvements
• – Maintain the organization’s tax database
• – Ensure compliance with tax regulations
• – Stay updated on tax law changes and trends
• – Prepare accurate tax reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual)
• – Demonstrate proficiency with iTax
• – Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

• – Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law, or related field (minimum second class, upper division)
• – KCSE overall grade of B+ (with B+ in Mathematics and English)
• – Professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA (required)
• – Knowledge of Kenyan and relevant Tax Laws
• – Strong analytical and organizational skills
• – Excellent communication and report writing skills
• – Proficiency in computer applications
