Job Overview

One Acre Fund is seeking a Corporate Operations Manager to lead operations for all their Kenya offices, residences, and guesthouses. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional, cost-effective services that enhance productivity, sustainability, and staff experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • – Oversee daily operations to maintain quality standards and exceptional service provision
  • – Implement and audit management systems to maintain performance standards
  • – Manage asset lifecycle for space/work resourcing
  • – Lead large and minor projects to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • – Plan and deliver important Tupande and global events
  • – Analyze expenditure and develop cost-reduction strategies while maintaining quality
  • – Foster team performance through mentorship and professional development
  • – Promote a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture
  • – Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all facilities

Team Management

The Corporate Operations Manager will oversee:

  • – Corporate Operations Coordinator (1)
  • – Facility Services Management Coordinator (1)
  • – Senior Nairobi Administrative Supervisor (1)

Requirements

  • – Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • – 2+ years of work experience, including project management and implementation
  • – Proficiency in complex spreadsheets (advanced functions) and databases
  • – Strong organizational and efficient work management skills
  • – Proven ability to build and lead cohesive teams
  • – Excellent communication skills with colleagues and stakeholders
  • – Fluency in English and Kiswahili

Additional Information

  • Location: Nairobi, Kenya (100% onsite, with occasional travel to regional offices)
  • Reporting to: Corporate Operations Manager within the People Division
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
