Videographer/Photographer Internship

Sharp Daily, a leading online news platform, is seeking a talented Creative Multimedia Producer to join their dynamic team. As a hub for the latest news in business, real estate, education, careers, investments, tech, and entrepreneurship, Sharp Daily fosters discussions in an informal digital setting, empowering entrepreneurs to learn from each other and influence public policy for a more business-friendly Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Collaborate with Design and Marketing teams to conceptualize, develop, and execute multimedia projects
• – Capture and edit high-quality images and videos
• – Enhance visual content using advanced post-production techniques
• – Operate and maintain professional photography/videography equipment
• – Set up scenes, lighting, and backgrounds to meet project specifications
• – Direct subjects during photo/video shoots
• – Organize and maintain a comprehensive media database
• – Stay updated with photography and videography best practices
• – Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• – Exceptional videography and/or photography skills
• – Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a desire to learn new tools
• – Strong creative storytelling abilities
• – Degree in multimedia production, photography, videography, visual communication design, or related fields
• – Understanding of digital marketing concepts
• – Ability to align creative production with marketing goals
• – Passion for current design trends and technologies
• – Commitment to personal growth and continuous learning
• – Copywriting skills (advantageous)
