Puratos, a warm family company with a historical growth track record, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting production activities and ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.

Your Responsibilities

• Manually support production activities and assist production operators on the line
• Operate a working station with limited complexity or limited SKU/task variation
• Communicate information or issues on the line verbally or in writing
• Work on labeling and packaging finished goods for shipment

Puratos Key Duties

• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) legal compliance and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, following food safety guidelines
• Apply food safety instructions and ensure quality and compliance
• Assist in the start-up, conversion, and monitoring of your area of responsibility
• Escalate technical issues according to the agreed escalation flow and support technicians during interventions
• Ensure a smooth transfer to the next shift
• Adhere to cost and productivity instructions within your area of responsibility

Requirements

• High School Certificate (KCSE)
• Ability to follow instructions and routines received through short explanations
• Forklift Driving License
• Capacity to understand safety and quality basic requirements and operate basic programs with repetitive tasks
