Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

• – Delivering engaging classroom instruction
  – Organizing and facilitating age-appropriate play and learning activities
  – Implementing holistic development approaches covering:
  * Spiritual growth

  * Aesthetic appreciation

Administrative Duties

• – Maintaining professional documentation including:
  * Detailed schemes of work
  * Daily lesson plans

Student Care and Development

Qualification Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• – Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum grade D+ (Plus) or KCE division IV at ‘O’ Level
• – Certificate in Early Childhood Development Education from KNEC/Ministry of Education or approved equivalent

Professional Requirements

• – Teachers Service Commission registration
• – Computer Applications Certificate
• – Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from National Police Service
• – Current medical clearance from a government health facility
